The manufacturer declares that the glass lid is tempered. This lid is the thinnest glass I actually have always viewed on a cook evening mealing utensil. Even the guidelines that come together with the pan explain how easy it's to break the glass lid. On my introductory try and prepare dinner egg whites in the pan I turned the dial to 300 degrees.

I love my skillet and were using it considering the real that Christmas. I can cook dinner nearly the relaxation on it, even pancakes, and easyup is an absolute breeze! After two yrs there are any tiny issues. . . the skillet does warp, so liquid puddles in the center, and the underneathside screw comes loose every time I use it, making it much more wobbly. I still like to cook on it as it's easy smooth and at hand, however unfortunately as of last evening it simply stopped working. The light was once on, however in the midst of making dinner, the warmth went off. Turning it on and off and unplugging it did now not work, both. I am contacting the manufacturer to bathroom toiletk about a substitute.
